Speakers during the December 2020 Zoom meeting of the GPICA included Lee County Commissioner Kevin Ruane, who discussed his experiences dealing with traffic issues while he was mayor of the City of Sanibel. Ruane said he would help support Pine Islanders’ efforts to mitigate traffic issues in our community.
The meeting also included a presentation by resident Jeff Waller, who is spearheading opposition to a doppler radar tower proposed in Pine Island Center.
