August GPICA Meeting Will Include Updates on Annexation, Incorporation, Island Development and Water Quality
The next meeting of the Greater Pine Island Civic Association will focus on updates on issues affecting Islanders, including:
- Some residents’ desire to incorporate in the face of the recent Cape Coral property annexations near the intersection of Burnt Store Road and Veterans Memorial Parkway;
- Water quality reports showing high levels of bacteria in the water near Flamingo Bay;
- Development on the Island and other issues.

The next meeting will take place in person at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday, Aug. 2, at the Elks Lodge, just west of the four-way stop. Members and nonmembers are welcome to attend.
