Library Update from Lee County
Fort Myers, FL, Oct. 24, 2022 – Lee County has announced the Pine Island Public Library will reopen to the public Tuesday, Oct. 25. Hours will be 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Tuesday through Saturday, Oct. 29, and then may be adjusted. Staff will monitor patron demand and announced any adjustments to hours on the website, www.leelibrary.net.
The library has computers, internet access, Wi-Fi and air conditioning. The building remains on generator power but is scheduled for LCEC service soon. Necessary septic-system repairs make the indoor restroom unavailable, however a restroom trailer with generator power is on site.
