Please join us in person for the April 2022 meeting of 
the Greater Pine Island Civic Association as we celebrate our 65th anniversary! Join us for cupcakes and community updates. Members and non-members are welcome to attend.
The meeting will take place at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday, April 5, at the Greater Pine Island Elks Club, 5630 Pine Island Road, Bokeelia (just west of the four-way stop at the center).
In addition to celebrating 65 years of the Civic Association working to protect and preserve the Island’s coastal-rural lifestyle, we’ll provide updates on some of the issues we’ve been working on:
- Traffic
- Water quality
- Development
The evening’s main speaker will be Lee County Commissioner Kevin Ruane. Members of the GPICA Board recently met with Commissioner Ruane to discuss the issues impacting our community and the Commissioner will be providing us with updates.
